Chris King is responsible for eMobility strategic partnerships and strategic initiatives at Siemens, leading its partner ecosystem, corporate development, and regulatory and policy activities. A serial entrepreneur, of his three start-ups, one IPO’d and another was bought by Siemens. Chris’s Board directorships include Advanced Energy Economy, Smart Electric Power Association, and Smart Energy Europe.

He has testified before Congress, several states, and international policymakers on EV charging infrastructure, distributed energy resources, and smart grids. His advisory roles include technology start-ups and an energy-focused venture capital firm. He holds bachelor's and master's degrees in science and business from Stanford and a doctorate in law. He has received three U.S. patents in clean energy technologies.
