Matthew Dustin is the Executive Director of the Southern Nevada Chapter of the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA). The Southern Nevada Chapter is comprised of 32 contractor members who have partnered with IBEW Local Union #357 to sole source labor who work an average of 4 million man-hours annually.

Matthew started his career in the electrical industry in 2000 when he was accepted into the IBEW/NECA joint apprenticeship in Las Vegas. Once becoming a Journeyman Wireman in 2005, Matthew began teaching for the apprenticeship and remained working in the field as a Journeyman, Foreman, and General Forman for multiple contractors. In 2011, Matthew partnered with his wife Erin and opened MD Electric. As a licensed contractor in Nevada, Matthew was elected to the board of Southern Nevada NECA. In 2021, he left MD Electric and became part of the staff for Southern Nevada NECA. As part of the chapter staff, Matthew has been a leader in labor negotiations, labor relations, education, and political leadership for the NECA chapter. In August of 2022, Matthew was named the Executive Director of the Southern Nevada Chapter and will continue to promote the growth of the electrical industry.
