Jan Freimann is an accomplished future technology expert with over a decade of E-Mobility and
Automotive expertise. His areas of focus are smart charging and electric vehicle technology.
As Senior Vice President, Ideanomics Energy at Ideanomics, he develops, implements, and leads
the energy service strategy.

From 2017-2021, Jan led BMW of North America’s E-Mobility Engineering teams as Head of
Connected E-Mobility. He also developed and managed BMW NA’s smart charging and
sustainability projects. Prior to this, Jan served as Innovation Manager, E-Mobility for BMW AG in
Germany, where he developed the future E-Mobility product portfolio for the company.
