Heidi Sickler
Senior Director of Policy and Market Development, Westbp pulse fleet
Heidi leads bp pulse fleet's legislative and regulatory advocacy for the Western region in support of policies that simplify and accelerate fleets' transition to electric and protect fleet operators from the variability of electricity prices. As the transportation industry goes through a massive electrification transition, bp pulse fleet (formerly AMPLY Power) has emerged as one of the leading companies to offer Charging-as-a-Service to commercial fleet operators. To the average person, this means that as commercial transportation companies begin to add electric vehicles (EVs) into their fleet, someone needs to manage how they are being charged and when so that they are being as efficient and economical as possible.
Heidi is a mission-oriented policy leader with extensive local, state, federal, and utility policy experience focused on energy and vehicle electrification policy. Throughout her career, Heidi has worked with mayors, legislators, state agencies, metropolitan planning organizations and community stakeholders on expanding multimodal transportation networks. Prior to joining AMPLY Power/bp pulse fleet, Heidi served on the California Energy Commission’s Clean Transportation Program Investment Plan Advisory Committee and was also the Head of EV policy at the Silicon Valley Leadership Group. Heidi has also worked on transportation policy for the former Mayor of Los Angeles and is a Capitol Hill alumnus, having served three Members of Congress on a range of federal policy issues, including transportation, energy and financial services.
