Mark Duebner was appointed Director of Aviation for the City of Dallas in 2011. Since his appointment he has overseen the construction of a new terminal, a dramatic increase in activity with the expiration of the Wright Amendment restrictions, and the development of a new 5,000 space parking facility. As Aviation Director he is responsible for management of Dallas Love Field, Dallas Executive Airport and the City’s Downtown Vertiport.

He has been with the City of Dallas for over twenty-five years, and has held positions in the Dallas Police Department, Business Development and Procurement Services, Public Works and Transportation, Streets, and the City Manager’s Office.

Mr. Duebner holds a Bachelors Degree in Philosophy from the University of Texas, and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of North Texas. He also served in the financial services industry before making the switch to public sector management.
