Rohan Puri

CEO & Co-Founder
Stable Auto

Rohan is the co-founder and CEO of Stable Auto, an EV charging data analysis platform. The lack of EV charging infrastructure is the biggest barrier to rapid EV adoption, which is critical for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and the impacts of climate change.

To unlock the scalability of EV charging, Stable’s proprietary software uses AI to analyze prospective EV charging sites and predict their long-term profitability. Utilizing over 70 million data points, Stable’s software helps charging networks, infrastructure developers, and financial institutions transform decision-making by forecasting EV charging usage and costs over a charger's lifespan.

Before Stable, Rohan built software and machine learning models at MIT Media Lab, where he played a pivotal role in developing cutting-edge diagnostic devices and biometric sensors.

Fueled by his entrepreneurial spirit outside MIT, Rohan also advised tech startups at Techstars and Harvard Innovation Lab and was a speaker for TedX.

AI Applications in EV Charging Infrastructure

As EV infrastructure deployment accelerates, artificial intelligence is quietly becoming one of the most powerful tools in the operator’s toolkit, enabling smarter site selection, stronger business cases, and more reliable charger performance. This session offers a practical, non-hype introduction to how AI is being applied across the EV charging ecosystem, from investment decisions to day-to-day operations.

Key topics include:

  • Applying AI to Site Selection & Portfolio Planning: Understand how operators and investors are using data models to identify profitable sites, de-risk deployments, and forecast long-term performance.
  • Revenue Optimization & Utilization Forecasting: Learn how AI supports smarter pricing strategies and improves charger uptime across networks.
  • Improving Site Operations & Pricing with AI: Dive into how AI helps operators fine-tune pricing, monitor performance in real time, and proactively address issues to maximize ROI.
  • Real-World Use Cases: Review how infrastructure funds, retailers, and network operators are using AI to scale faster and operate more efficiently.
  • Barriers to Adoption: Unpack the common pitfalls—from messy data to organizational silos—and what it takes to go from “AI-powered” to actually operational.
  • Evaluating Tech Partners: Walk away with a framework for assessing AI solutions in a crowded vendor landscape.

Whether you're planning your first deployment or scaling a national network, this session will provide the insight you need to evaluate AI-powered tools and make smarter infrastructure decisions.

Raising Capital for EV Infrastructure Projects: What Investors Want to See

Capital is flowing into EV infrastructure like never before—but competition for investment remains fierce. Developers and operators must demonstrate not only technical viability but also financial sustainability, scalability, and clear pathways to returns. In a market defined by policy momentum and private sector innovation, understanding how investors evaluate risk and opportunity is key to moving projects from concept to commissioning.

This session unites voices from across the funding landscape. Stable Auto brings the perspective of an EV infrastructure startup that’s successfully raised capital and scaled by proving value through data and performance. The Nevada Clean Energy Fund (NCEF) offers insight into how public financing tools and green banks are bridging market gaps and de-risking early-stage projects. And Ultra Capital, a seasoned investor in sustainable infrastructure, shares what institutional and private capital providers look for in the next wave of EV and clean mobility investments. Together, they’ll explore how developers can align business models, partnerships, and impact metrics to meet investor expectations and accelerate deployment.

Key Takeaways:

  • What capital providers look for when evaluating EV infrastructure investments
  • How developers can structure projects to balance innovation with financial stability
  • The role of green banks and blended finance in unlocking private investment
  • Lessons from real-world fundraising and deployment experiences in the EV sector
