As the City of Greensboro’s Transportation Director, Hanna and her team make Greensboro more car optional every day. She oversees transportation planning and design; traffic operations, safety programs, maintenance activities and parking operations. She is a member of the Women’s Transportation Seminar, American Planning Association, and Institute of Transportation Engineers.

Hanna is Past-President of the North Carolina Chapter of APA, and a member of the Transportation Research Board’s standing committee on bicycle transportation. She serves on the North Carolina Vision Zero Task Force, and as Vice-Chair of the newly designated Piedmont and Coastal NC Clean Cities Coalition.
