Creating a World-Class Customer Charging Experience

As EV adoption accelerates, the charging experience is becoming just as important as the vehicle itself. Today’s drivers expect convenience, comfort, and connection—whether they’re fueling up at a retail site or plugging in during a day at the park. This session explores how leading organizations are transforming charging from a technical necessity into a customer-centered experience that fits seamlessly into everyday life.

On the Run Charging shares how it’s redefining convenience across one of Canada’s fastest-growing ultra-fast networks, enhancing every stop with amenities, upgraded facilities, and its popular Journie™ Rewards loyalty program that keeps drivers engaged long after they unplug. From the public sector, the City of Pasadena Water and Power reveals how thoughtful urban planning and destination-focused charging—integrated into recreational spaces and daily routines—are making EV ownership effortless and enjoyable. Together, these examples highlight how both private innovators and municipal leaders are shaping a charging landscape built around people, not just power.
