Emily Durham is Vice President of Legal & Government Affairs at Electrify America. As the chief legal officer of the Company, she advises Executive leadership and the Board of Directors of major legal and regulatory risks and oversees corporate governance and compliance for the Company.
Emily joined Electrify America in 2017 and has helped build and scale the Company into one of the nation’s largest, open DC fast charging network for electric vehicles, as well as expanding the business within North America with the establishment of subsidiary company, Electrify Canada. She works alongside the Executive team for long-term strategic planning, advancing Company policies, risk mitigation, and furthering Board and Company objectives. With an interest in supporting and growing talent, she led the creation of the Company's Mentor Program in 2021 and remains a mentor and Executive Sponsor today.
For nearly 20 years, Emily has provided legal counsel, strategic guidance, and risk mitigated business solutions through her in-house legal leadership roles. Prior to joining Electrify America, Emily was Vice President and Assistant General Counsel with Berkshire Group for several years, and Corporate Counsel with AVB, Inc. Emily has a Juris Doctor degree from Valparaiso University School of Law and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Kalamazoo College. She is a member of the Michigan and Virginia bar associations.
