The Role of Cities in EV Charging Expansion: Partnerships and Policies That Work

Cities are taking a larger role in expanding local EV charging availability, from installing chargers to making building codes more conducive. This discussion will share insights from a city-private sector partnership to better understand the role of public-private sector collaboration in program success. How can city officials most effectively work with internal and external partners to build out their cities’ charging networks? The panel will also highlight how to create the right policy environment that makes it easier for CPOs and other private partners to install EV chargers to support overall city goals. Partners will share how they built relationships that contributed to their successes and challenges in EV program planning.
