Cian Fields leads the transition to a zero-emissions electric fleet for Boston's 750 school buses. His role spans operations of Boston's existing electric buses and the planning for future deployments of 100+ electric buses in the next two years. Cian brings deep technical knowledge about clean transportation and electric vehicles (EVs), as well as the planning and funding to advance infrastructure projects. Cian spent years as a consultant helping cities and airports to plan for EV charging infrastructure and alternative fuels. He is published in the National Academies of Science for the Transportation Research Board. Cian holds degrees in Economics and Environmental Science. He is an avid car enthusiast, dabbles in amateur racing, and loves driving in the snow.
