Jim Hurless

As the Global Real Estate Leader for CBRE’s EV Business, Jim Hurless manages the overall development and advancement of CBRE’s Electric Vehicle business. In this capacity, Mr. Hurless helps our clients understand the impacts Electrification has on their overall portfolio.

Prior to this role, Mr. Hurless was responsible for driving the growth and expansion of CBRE Advisory and Transaction Services; supporting operational excellence and client care initiatives. He accomplishes this by forging effective working relationships with clients, Divisional Presidents, sales and solutions teams, account and transactions professionals and integrated advisory services experts to accomplish divisional and business line objectives.

Mr. Hurless brings over 20 years of Global CRE, Facilities and Infrastructure experience with hyperscale companies focused on CRE, tech, data center, technical operations, facilities management, site selection, site development, strategic planning, construction management, construction and sustaining cost controls, hi-tech facilities management and plant maintenance across the globe.

Prior to his previous director roles with CBRE, Mr. Hurless served in a variety of multinational corporate real estate roles, including with a communications firm, a major web services company as Head of Infrastructure and Data Center Strategy in emerging markets, and a major hospitality booking company.
