Bringing the Home Charging Experience to Multifamily: A Level 2 Outlet for Every Resident

Charging at home is challenging for people who live in multifamily housing. Even if a property offers some shared chargers, increased demand for EVs means these are often in-use, which can cause friction between neighbors. Through the partnership with Peninsula Clean Energy and Pando Electric, one East Palo Alto property recently installed a dedicated outlet for 100% of residents, 92 total outlets, at a fraction of the cost of other solutions. This panel will explore the benefits of this solution for drivers and the lessons learned from this case study.
