Joshua has spent the past 23+ years developing electrified Medium and Heavy Duty Buses and Trucks as well as their associated fueling and charging systems. He started out in the 90’s researching hybrid drive, solar, and hydrogen-powered vehicles while getting his undergrad at the University of Maryland. Joshua then moved to San Diego in 2000 where worked as an engineer, product manager, and business development executive at many successful startups based in North America and Europe such as ISE, Proterra, TransPower (acquired by Meritor / Cummins) and Volta Trucks. He had been a key market driver of combustion hybrids, hydrogen fuel cells, and battery electric class 4-8 commercial vehicles, including one of the first to develop 500kW charged transit buses and V2G School Buses in 2009 and 2015 respectively. Joshua holds 3 patents for automated high-power DC Fast charging systems.
