Raymond Kaiser has been a leader in design, development, and deployment of Distributed Energy Resources (DER) and microgrids for +20 years. As Director of Energy Management Systems at Amzur Technologies, he led multiple software development efforts and collaborated with US National Energy Labs, major universities, and private companies on a range of energy Internet of Things (IoT) and interoperability initiatives.
Prior to Amzur, Raymond provided energy and environmental consulting services to local, state, and federal agencies, major corporations and developers, and national and international architectural engineering firms. His career in energy and environment began when he served as Executive Director on the team that drafted Florida’s State Energy Plan. In Raymond’s early career, he held business and software development roles in the IT industry, including managing corporate strategy and worldwide business development for a Fortune 500 company.
In addition to his role at EVoke, Raymond is a frequent speaker on Distributed Energy Resources (DER)
standards and protocols at energy conferences and workshops including, Smart Electric Power Alliance
(SEPA) Grid Evolution Summit, Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), Grid Monetization Lab Consortium
(GMLC), North America Smart Energy Week and IEEE Power & Energy Society (PES).
