Geraldina Romo

Geraldina Romo is the Planning Manager for Antelope Valley Transit Authority. She joined the agency in 2014 when the transition from Diesel to an All-Electric Fleet was approved by the Board of Directors. During this transition, she was responsible for making all of the needed adjustments to the routes in terms of path, timetables, and blocking to be suitable for the new demands of the fleet. She holds a Bachelors in Computer Science Engineering and started her professional career as a Network Engineer in El Salvador, but since she started at AVTA, she has found a passion for Public Transportation and is always looking to improve service to the Antelope Valley community.
