Matt Curwood, Senior Director of Bus Operations at Voltera, is a seasoned transportation industry leader renowned for his unwavering commitment to client satisfaction and operational excellence. With a career spanning over 20 years, Matt has honed his expertise in executive leadership, strategic planning, business development, government relations, and international operations. His success is rooted in building strong, mutually beneficial relationships, which he leverages to deliver innovative transportation solutions that exceed expectations.

Previously, as President of Loop Transportation, Matt led the company through a period of unprecedented growth, securing accounts with some of the world's most demanding and innovative companies, including Google, Apple, and Facebook. Under his leadership, Loop Transportation became the largest private transportation provider in Silicon Valley and one of the largest privately owned operators in the United States. Matt's remarkable achievements earned him accolades, including a Letter of Commendation from San Mateo County and the establishment of "Matt Curwood Day" on October 10th.

Before joining Voltera in 2023, Matt consolidated his vast experience by establishing Curwood Consulting Group in 2017, where he continued to collaborate with top-tier partners and associates on cutting-edge projects spanning both the public and private sectors. Born and raised in Australia, Matt holds a Bachelor of Science in Urban Planning and Design from the Royal Institute of Technology, Melbourne. He is also a board member of the Australian American Chamber of Commerce. Outside of work, Matt enjoys spending time with his family and indulging his passion for outdoor activities like skiing, bike riding, hiking and paddleboarding.
