Mr. Smith is currently the President and Chief Executive Officer of Everged (formerly True Upside Consulting), an industry-leading renewable energy solution integrator. Under Mr. Smith’s direction, Everged specializes in bringing converged renewable energy solutions to market, implementing EV solutions and installations, and helping companies build and sustain profitable growth strategies in the public sector marketplace. Everged has successfully helped clients attain Federal contract awards for over $50 Billion over the last 10-plus years. Everged specializes in enabling public sector agencies to achieve their energy and technology Missions.
Prior to his current role at True Upside Consulting, Mr. Smith was in charge of all U.S. sales and marketing efforts for Comstor U.S. Comstor is a leading specialty distributor with Global capabilities and reach. In his previous role, Mr. Smith oversaw all go-to-market elements for Comstor in the U.S.
Prior to Comstor, Mr. Smith served as the Vice President of Sales for GovConnection. He ran all of the sales for the company, which targets public sector entities. His efforts lead to the acquisition of major contracts for the company including First Source and ADMC-2.
Prior to GovConnection, Mr. Smith served at Gateway as Vice President of Strategic Accounts. Jeff led the company’s sales and business development strategy for Corporate Accounts, which was approximately $400 Million in annual Sales. He brought more than a decade of experience in the private sector to Gateway as the company looks to increase its presence in this market.
Prior to joining Gateway, Mr. Smith served as Vice President and General Manager of the Business Sales Channel for one of the world's leading wireless carriers, AT&T Wireless. Smith significantly increased annual sales in just three years, helping the company obtain a dominant share in the corporate and public sector markets.
