Kristian is a veteran renewable energy professional with 20 years of energy project finance experience. From 2011 to 2015, he served as Senior Vice President of Clean Power Finance, where he built and led the Renewables Capital Markets Group to over $1 billion in capital raised for residential solar systems.
Previously, from 2007 to 2011, he was Co-founder and Vice President of Finance for Tioga Energy, an innovative venture-backed solar project developer that financed over 100 commercial-scale solar systems. He also has previous experience in wholesale energy markets consulting (PA Consulting from 2000 to 2002), coal mining (Oxbow Corporation from 2002 to 2004), natural gas exploration and production (Gunnison Energy Corporation from 2002 to 2004,) and utility-scale power generation development and acquisition (Arclight Capital from 2006 to 2007).
Mr. Hanelt has an MBA from Stanford University and a BS from Boston University.
