(Workshop C) EV Fleets 101: Building a Strategic Roadmap for Medium & Heavy Duty Fleet Electrification *LIMITED SPOTS REMAINING*
Many fleet owners and fleet leaders are eager to learn more about the potential of electrifying their fleets. Most fleets have little or no experience with this all-new technology. The unknowns and overwhelming number of questions leave many fleets frustrated as to what their next step should be.
This workshop will review four different asset classes, the key considerations for the electrification of each, and recommendations for building the strategic roadmap for each. The classes and operations are Class 6 box truck final mile delivery, Class 8 tractor trailer final mile delivery, Class 8 Refuse collection, and Class 8 yard tractor.
Key takeaways include:
- Critical considerations for building a successful fleet electrification roadmap.
- Available tools for evaluating and comparing EV options.
- Acquisition strategies and options.
- Infrastructure, charger, and utility considerations.
