Scott Schlicker

Scott Schlicker has been with BASF for 30+ years, with much of his career spent within the performance materials business unit. He has had diverse assignments in applications development, sales, advanced development and marketing, and business leadership. Scott is currently the Head of eMobility business development for BASF’s engineering plastics business in North America. In this role, he is responsible for leading the eMobility team, collaborating with customers to develop new applications, and developing innovative material solutions.

Scott holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the Michigan Technological University and is pursuing an MBA at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business. He has experience in developing new thermoplastic technologies and is a co-inventor on four patents for powertrain and composites technologies with a focus on metal-to-plastic material conversions.
